Windows USB created with media creation tool.

BIOS straight up doesn't see my USB drive, that's the problem. Legacy is turned on, fastboot turned off. My motherboard is goddamn hating me right here.

So I thought about one last thing and I tried that…. I thought: if it won’t boot from a USB drive, why don’t I just make a DVD with Linux? My computer has 3 damn dvd players so why not. So did I. I burned Linux on the DVD and pushed it into the computer. Then I pressed F11 to get the boot selection screen. Indeed, it saw the Linux DVD so I selected that bad boy and waited. After some seconds the selection screen appeared where I selected to “start Linux”. I let it load and after a minute the computer shut down to not power on again. It powered on when I pressed the power button, but the OS failed so I think that the motherboard is broken ?

Build the computer outside the case. See if it powers off.

Build the computer outside the case? So I should get the motherboard and everything out? What has that to do with the issues? The case isnt the problem, I built in a older motherboard and it was working fine.

And if it boots and allows usb access then you'll know there is a short between the case and motherboard in which case you'll need a new motherboard

You can check the standoffs aka the mounts to see if they are snug

Everything's okay, I built outside of the case, didn't do anything different. Just the same problems.
