This is my Full pc information: SystemInfo.txt

ga-Z270-Gaming 3

i7-7700K CPU

16g of ram

GTX 1080 evea

old SSD WDS500G2B0B

Windows 10 version 19045.3803

My issue began when I purchased a new kingston kc3000. After installing a fresh copy of Windows and testing a few games, my PC started crashing. I encountered bluescreen err specifically after playing games, which didn’t happen with my old SSD. I returned the SSD to the store, and they replaced it with another one, but unfortunately, the same problem persists. I even attempted changing the PCIe setting in bios from ‘auto’ to ‘gen3,’ tried another SSD EXCERIA PLUS G3 but it didn’t resolve the issue.

Looking in event viewer it give me "Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation." and "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

here is the logo https://ufile.io/k839zda0

Those are couple of HWInfo file before the pc crashes.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?

I suggest posting in a popular Windows 10 forum. Search for Windows 10 + Brink.

Good luck.

Hi, Welcome to BC.

You seem to be running a BIOS Version : F8b which is not made for your Mother Board Z270-Gaming 3 as Current Version and last Version is : F7d :   https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z270-Gaming-3-rev-10/support#support-dl-bios

or : https://www.aorus.com/motherboards/GA-Z270-Gaming-3-rev-10/Support which comes up with the same info.

Running : Bios Version ALASKA - 1072009  : https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Bios+version+ALASKA+-+1072009

Agree since have wrong Bios you would be better off figuring this out where you got that from.

It was from Gigabyte technical support, and they provided the bios to see if it would resolve the issue.

I don't have much, if any, experience with blue screen issues. You might be able to determine something using bluescreen view from Nirsoft.

The issue is that the system can't collect any information, so even after a restart, you would still not know what caused the problem.

I'm not sure this is your problem but I would disable FastStartup. It uses a hiberfil.sys file that can cause things to get wonky if it gets corrupted. Open an elevated command prompt and type

powercfg.exe -h off

Reboot and see if anything changes. You can enable again by substituting on for off.

Also, on page 29 of the manual I would disable CSM support and only have support for UEFI.

Other than that I'm out of ideas, sorry. And I missed in your first post that you couldn't save a dump file.

Hi, ok re BIOS if from maker.

Turn off anything in BIOS that Speeds up the Boot example ASUS Fast Boot for the same reason as below :

Turn off MS Fast Start (providing info as to why it was suggested to do so)

https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startup /11 and WHY !!!

From a DOS Command Prompt from START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> :
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command then Enter   if it finds problems then reboot. (Completed Successfully : means reboot)
then
After : please Open another Admin Command Prompt and please run Copy/Paste --> SFC /SCANNOW into the Dos window or Powershell and Enter.  Reboot after.

Do see if Blue Screen View catches any info please.

Please Post a "link" of Speccy Report.
Please install Speccy Free : https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/speccy.html
Use Custom Install
At the Top Left Corner of Speccy --> Click File and then Click Publish Snapshot Report, a window will popup and Click YES. --> Another popup will appear and then Click "Copy To Clipboard" then Paste that "link" to your next reply in your thread.

Download Minitoolbox from the below link :
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/minitoolbox/
Run the tool and only select the following tick boxes.
-List last 10 Event viewer errors
    -List installed programs

Hi, did you put the info into a quote box........... the info is smaller and formatted differently.  It says copy/paste into a reply ........  As well you ticked all the boxes.

You used the quote box to quote me which there is no need to do so.

Is this EADesktop.exe actually needed and why can you not login and do it from there. Get rid of it as is causing issues.

From Start--> Search type CMD, Right Click and Run as Administrator then Copy/Paste --> :  %SystemRoot%\System32\Cmd.exe /c Cleanmgr /sageset:65535 & Cleanmgr /sagerun:65535 then Enter, select all and sit back. It opens MS Disk Cleanup and cleans up more.

As well can try : from another DOS Command Prompt from START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> :  DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command then Enter  if it finds problems then reboot. (Completed Successfully : means reboot)
then
after reboot run from another CMD Admin Prompt SFC /SCANNOW and reboot if it fixes anything.

You are missing some functions in the Power Options window on the left side of the Window as per URL.

What is under Define Power Buttons and .....    Looking for something that matches the URL Pics.   Uncheck Sleep Your system needs to Shut Down not Sleep.

Re-read the URL for a better understanding.

Want to Speccy Report.  Run As Administrator.  Turn off A/V.  Snapshot is useless to me.  I have no need to have Speccy Installed.  The file Extension is .speccy.

A snapshot is always a picture .jpg.  Which does not matter as it tells me noting I am looking for.   Follow the directions given.  Ask before posting or doing.

Remove and uninstall EADesktop.exe  it is causing the crash with Geek Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller as it gets more :  : ntdll.dll which is Windows high system driver.

This is their issue  Electronic Arts\EA Desktop : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1001963/ntdll-dll-application-error-(0xc0000374)

It is not a Microsoft issue that is causing this to crash.  Login  a fricking game desktop..........is BS.

Turn off Restore Points and reboot. It will remove all restore points., Turn it back on and reboot (temp fix)  : Volume Shadow Copy Service error

The Microsoft Store is a Essential Tool for Updating.: Open the MS Store and go down the left side to Library and install what you use.  Update the store, update the game bar if use it and anything else you use.

Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation.  :Make sure that no Cleaners are running at start up as they will delete the Dump Files.

https://www.windowscentral.com/how-manage-crash-dump-settings-windows-10 /11 Set for Small Dump.

&

Covers some already discussed: https://www.minitool.com/partition-disk/dump-file-creation-failed-due-to-error-during-dump-creation.html

Reset Video Card to Stock Settings : Using MSI Afterburner is settings that need to go back as maybe the issue : https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/24142

Using Afterburner is not recommended for non MSI Products.

Short view after doing all of the above : why think it is the SSD ?
