Wifi randomly stops working unless I restart laptop

I'm currently out of the country and using a laptop for work. Got up this morning and Wifi wouldn't work which I found odd so I reset the computer and everything seemed fine. A while later I once again had no wifi unless I restarted the computer. Restarting seems to fix it but it's only temporary and that's quite a hassle to have to do. I have no way of using a wired connection as my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. I'm using an acer laptop and as far as I know I haven't made any changes to anything recently.

Do you use NordVPN for work?

 

I use it for work amongst other things. I need a VPN but it doesn't have to be Nord per se. I recently added a custom VPN (like 3-4 days ago) rather than the generic one and it seems a bit buggy but I'm not sure if that's necessarily what's causing the problem.

 

It's also worth noting I'm having these wifi issues whether or not the VPN is turned on.

It sleeps.....I think? I think the wifi has stopped working every time it goes to sleep ever since last night and it may have also randomly stopped working once while awake although I'm less sure on that one as I don't remember.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but it doesn't give me a "change plan settings" box when I go to balanced power. My menus look a bit different than the photo. It may be a Windows 10 photo that was sent?

Hi, just a quick jump in, turn this off : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startup /11 and WHY !!!

It will also change part of the Power Settings when do the above.  

 

Faulting process id: 0x0x2ba4 is File Explorer            WebExperienceHostApp.exe error 0xc000027b    need to figure out.

 

NordVPN should try playing with settings and terminate all processes of it and test.

 

To let you know Windows Store is a Integral part of updating Windows 11. Open the Store and go down left side to Library and install only what you use.

 

In good hands is just in and out.
